Travel Tips Tuesday: Valentine’s Day Getaway To Westin Resort & Spa Cancun
This week Travel Tips Tuesday is Valentine’s Day getaway to Westin Resort & Spa Cancun
Valentine’s Day falls on a Saturday this year, so there’s no reason not to get out of town with your sweetheart.
Valentine’s Day is not only a reminder to appreciate our loved ones, but also a good excuse for a romantic weekend vacation. Lets be honest. Skip the roses and chocolates in favor of a gift your partner will really love — a quick getaway.
I was in Cancun two weeks ago, and stayed at The Westin Resort & Spa. My stay at this resort was beyond AMAZING.
The check in seem very quick and easy, much like a whirlwind. After checking in. I believe I had seen the most beautiful oceanic view ever.
This resort has the best location on the strip just at the end far away of the clubs and noise. The guest were mostly couples young and old and very quiet. Not a long drive from the airport. 15 mins drive from the airport and you are on the beach.
Loved the grounds, there are several excellent locations to lounge and just relax beside the pool and beach. It’s pretty clean and the furniture is modern and inviting. The beach was great, as the water was blue, the sand was a great white, and the waves rolled so beautifully.
The rooms were also something beyond fantastic. They were spacious, bright, and the decor was to die for. As weird as it seems, the bathroom made me wish I had marble ruling too! What took the icing on the top was that it was quiet and the bed was so comfortable, that I almost slept like a baby.
The staffs are extremely helpful. They can help you plan a memorable valentine for you and your love.
The Spa invites couples to relax and romance during a unique and intimate spa treatment. The Heavenly Spa by Westin mission is to use all five senses to soothe the mind and body while uplifting the spirit.
They have four terrace cabanas and five beachside palapas (straw huts) let you pair your favorite spa experience with soothing sea breezes and spectacular views of turquoise waters.
White sand beaches, the lull of the ocean, clear blue skies, and temperate sunlight
Also on the beach is their authentic Temazcal hut, offering the cleansing experience of an ancient Mayan steam bath.
Another option is the indoor spa
The spa’s beautiful facilities are permeated with the calming aroma of white tea, their signature scent. Enjoy a facial, or other treatment of your choice in their six luxurious treatment alcoves. Or unwind on your own in the sauna and steam rooms or their relaxation lounges complete with Jacuzzis.
In-room massages are also available for those times when you just want to cocoon.
El Palmar, main dining room:Decent buffet offerings for breakfast and dinner. The service is excellent.
What made this trip so wonderful, was that the service was excellent, leading me to have a fantastic time at this outstanding resort.
